Underwhelming Stay, Issues with Room and Noise

loud music poor soundproofing
The room I got was quite disappointing, especially considering what I paid. It was supposed to be a Beautiful Room, but it felt pretty standard. The biggest issue was the noise at night. Loud music from a nearby bar made it almost impossible to sleep. I called the front desk several times, but the noise continued late into the night, it was really frustrating. I expected better soundproofing!

Centrally Located Gem

helpful concierge attentive staff daily newspaper
The concierge service stood out. They were helpful. They took our luggage directly to the room and explained how the air conditioning worked. Breakfast staff were also lovely and attentive (always quick with the coffee refills). The hotel provided a daily newspaper, a nice touch.
The shower tub was difficult to get in and out of. I felt this was a design flaw that could be improved upon, especially for older guests or those with mobility issues. Windows faced directly into other rooms, so shades needed to remain down at all times.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel provides convenient parking in an attached car park. This eliminates the need for walking. A daily newspaper is available to guests.
Rooms
9/10
The beautiful room features beautiful decor and offered really good comfort. Air conditioning is available in each room, ensuring a comfortable temperature. The room upgrade included complimentary items.
